 Added Thursday, December 31st, 2009 Upcoming Meetings & Events Our Union meeting is the second Thursday of every month, at 7:00 PM in Hall 1 of the Labor Temple Building, 2800 First Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121. There is no December meeting. We encourage our members to attend the union meetings — it is a great way to know what is going on with your union and hear about the current job market. Members Only. Local 242 holds its own golf tournament every July. The Kevin Cimmery Memorial Golf Tournament is a great event for all members. Members can sign up to golf in advance, or for a small fee show up for the BBQ. We raffle off great prizes that our contractors donate and proceeds from the raffle go directly to the Puget Sound Labor Agency Food Bank that is located in our building. |
